Chris provided pre-construction estimating for Gilbane Building Company and Weiss Manfredi Architects for this striking building on the Walnut Street in Philadelphia.  

Narrow vertical banded curtainwall with sloping roof lines create a dramatic interior common space, and a monumental 3 story stairway against the glass creates a dramatic interior views.  The third floor is marked with a conference room that cantilevers out over the entry courtyard by more than 40 feet and is supported by massive tension members tying the cantilever loads to the foundations.  The building houses a large high purity clean room, the most advanced facility of it's kind at the time of its construction.
